We have always felt strongly about giving back to our community whether it be through donations to a meaningful cause or lending a helping hand in service projects and charity events. Here are some of the ways we are getting involved:

American Cancer Society – Road to Recovery:

For over 1ACS -R2R00 years, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has worked relentlessly to save lives and create a world with less cancer. Together with millions of supporters worldwide, they help people to stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against cancer. Every day thousands of cancer patients need a ride to treatment, but some may not have a way to get there. The American Cancer Society Road to Recovery program provides transportation to and from treatment for people with cancer who do not have a ride or are unable to drive themselves.

Swim For Life:

Swim for LifeSwim for Life is an annual 2 1/2 mile, team-based swim across Lake Washington from Medina Beach Park to Madison Park. This year was our fifth year participating on a team in this wonderful event that raises money and awareness for blood collection, processing, and research into blood-related illnesses and cures!

Seattle Union Gospel Mission:

Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission provides emergency care and long-term recovery services to hurting and homeless people in the greater Seattle area. Throughout the year we have the great pleasure of assisting with meal-preparation and distribution as well as fundraising efforts.

Windermere Community Service Day:

Community Service DayFor more than 20 years we have participated in the planning and organization of Bellevue West’s Community Service Day. Every year Windermere closes its offices for one day to help make a positive difference in our local communities. Thirty years and more than one million hours of community service later, we’ve continued this tradition through neighborhood-enhancing projects in the areas where our Windermere teams live, work, and play. This year we had over 60 participants who came out to cleanup and restore our local Boys and Girls Club location.
